Maa Mahuri Kalua Hilltop and Temple, Ganjam Odisha

                                       
Mahuri Kalu Temple is situated at the bottom of hill which is at distance of around 17KM from Berhampur of Odisha. This temple is devoted to Goddess Kalua or Kali who is worshiped by king Mauri of Mahuri Dynasty. On the occasion of Durga Puja and Kali puja many devotees come from far for worship. 
At the top of hill there is another temple which is known as Upara Kallua Mata Temple. this temple can be visited after climbing around 800 stairsThe amazing fact of this temple is that it's can't be visible easily. The temple is situated in a small cave and the opening of the cave is very narrow, due to which it's very difficult to go inside. 
There is a wide range of greenery around the temple, which is why this is also a famous spot for picnics. Every year, many people visit here to celebrate the new year. 
How to Reach 
The nearest bus stop and railway station is Berhampur. You need to hire vehicle from here as there is no direct public transport available.
Entry Fee: - there is no any entry fee for temple and picnic spot
